Craig Wilson is no longer in camp. Apparently, he failed his physical. Thus endeth the speculation whether he would platoon at first base. There are rumors that the Reds have signed, or will soon sign, Josh Fogg. One source even put a contract at $1 million for one year, which seems odd since another source had him getting a $4-5 million, one-year offer elsewhere, and turning it down because he wanted at least two years. At any rate, John Fay put up an interesting stat. Pitching for Colorado last year, Fogg had a 5.97 ERA at home, 4.11 on the road. |
